Personality:
Neku is a strange teen, seemingly relaxed and almost bored at times, yet almost creepily wild when needed. Unlike his counterpart, he doesn't care about honour or rules, let alone how to fight without killing. Another weird aspect is that he fights dirty, yet almost to a beat. The strange headphones he has on his form are nearly always switched on, and have a tendency to change to a song or theme that suits the current mood of the situation, on their own.

Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant - He is one of the few beings in the world that put their life and battle style into Hakuda, allowing him to quickly climb the ranks of such and become classified as an expert in Hakuda. He has yet to gain the skill of a Master in the art, There are times when he ignores skill all together in favour of brute force and dirty tactics, but he usually falls back into style sooner or later.

Flowing Sequence Fighter - Neku is able to use many different Kidou and styles that he learnt, to perform quite a variety of attacks, moves, and strikes within sequence. The wide selection of attacks adds to his unpredictability, not to mention to his raw destructive nature. Strangely Neku tends to move to the beat of the song coming from his headphones at first in a fight, yet this seems to be so his opponent would pick up on it, then be thrown off when he becomes unpredictable.

Origami – He has a rather strange talent of being able to fold paper in many ways within a flash of spirit-enhanced speed and raw skill alone. This allows Neku to be able to make many shapes within under a few seconds of flashing hands. He calls it a hobby, and the guy seems to love finding new shapes and forms to create with paper alone, and timing that speed.

Music Illusionist – A comical and almost deep movement of battle thought. Neku can become lost in the sounds of song and strike out within a dance like flowing water. To the outside view it may seem like he's playing around, turning into a blur, or fighting with a unknown amount of skill. They're wrong. In the humorous note of truth, he's simply liking the song coming from his headphones.

Techniques:

Charged Aura Beat - A advanced technique that combines hand-to-hand combat and Kidou energy to explosively increase a Neku's offensive capabilities. For three minutes in battle he cannot use his Zanpakuto, or a Kidou spell, yet his strength and speed are boosted by five points. The Kidou energy itself can be controlled and fired at opponents from the body in the form of shock wave like blasts.
